GREATER ANOINTING IN 2009

I am writing this blog at the beautiful Gold Coast, Australia. It is about an hour's drive from Brisbane. I am having a 4 day holiday in Gold Coast. It is very hot and humid at the Gold Coast. I love being at the beach because of the cool sea breeze. I have been seeking God for direction in 2009. I really want God to show me more of His glory and power in 2009.

I really thank God for 2008. He has blessed me in so many ways. I had the privileged to travel to so many countries around the world. I went to Indonesia, the Philippines and South Korea for the first time. I shared the Good News with up to 5000 people around Asia and Australia. God performed many emotional and physical healings through the healing meetings. I was so blessed to witnessed a lady who was born deaf and mute able to listen and speak for the first time in the Philippines. I believe the greatest miracle of all was to see over 1000 people accepted Christ in 2008. Glory to God! Watch video below

Another lady in Thailand who had a huge goitre was healed by God in a miraculously way. Watch video below.

Let us believe God for greater blessings and anointing in 2009. God has great plans for all of us in 2009.

However, as it is written:
"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him"— but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.

GREAT ADVENTURE IN SINGAPORE

I really love this city. There are always exciting things happening. For example, while I was walking along Orchard Road, I saw over 100 people putting their hands on brand new Subaru. There was a competition for the person who can put their hands on the car the longest is the winner and takes home the car. AS you can tell, everyone wants to win the car! Apparently, last year's winner had to stand for 77 hours! Visit the website http://imprezachallenge.com.ph/

The weeks leading to Christmas, Singapore was filled with beautiful Christmas lights. It was really nice. I had a great time in Singapore, I met many new friends and ate a lot of yummy food.

Fully Proclaim the Gospel

I was very inspired about Apostle Paul's passion to spread the gospel: in its extent and power. He wanted to preach the gospel everywhere, to everyone (Jews & Gentiles), and with the power of the Holy Spirit in signs and miracles. He fully proclaim the gospel.

17Therefore I glory in Christ Jesus in my service to God. 18I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles to obey God by what I have said and done— 19by the power of signs and miracles, through the power of the Spirit. So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ. 20It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else's foundation. Romans 15:17-20.

Let us fully proclaim the gospel as Apostle Paul did so that people can experience peace, hope, purpose, joy and healing through Christ.

PROCLAIM THE POWER OF GOD

I am in the final week of a 4 month healing and evangelism ministry in Asia. I am writing this blog in Ipoh, Malaysia. The food in Ipoh is so good! There are many Chinese people living in this city. Thus, there are many restuarants with great food. We had an awesome healing meeting in Hope Ipoh and God healed people including an 81 year old elderly lady who can read clearly after prayer.

Before the healing meeting in Ipoh, God reminded me of His awesome power through Psalm 68:34-35,

34 Proclaim the power of God, whose majesty is over Israel, whose power is in the skies.

35 You are awesome, O God, in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Praise be to God!

Let us proclaim the power of God wherever we are. God wants to empower every believer to demonstrate His love and compassion.

Recently, I read an inspirational book called Kathryn Kuhlman - "The Woman behind the Miracles". This book really challenged my faith for miracles. Kathryn Kuhlman was an evangelist who preached the gospel for 48 years. She was born in 1907 and died in 1976. She started a traveling ministry at the age of 21. God used Kathryn Kuhlman to bring salvation and healing to many people. It is believed that two 2 millions people were healed under her healing ministry. Her famous books included: "I believe in Miracles", "God can do it again" and "Nothing is Impossible with God"

The Kathryn Kuhlman Foundation (Website)

(Read more at the bottom).

Kathryn Kuhlman
- Evangelist

It was on July 4, 1948 that the first Kathryn Kuhlman "miracle service" was held at Carnegie Hall, North Side - the first of many such services to be held regularly over the years of her ministry in Pittsburgh. Kathryn Kuhlman moved from Franklin, Pennsylvania to Pittsburgh, after the roof of Faith Temple in Sugar Creek (where she had been conducting services since l947) fell in under the weight of the greatest snowfall in area history on Thanksgiving Day, l950. And it was in l954 that she founded The Kathryn Kuhlman Foundation.

Kathryn Kuhlman was once asked, "What do you regard as the ultimate goal of your ministry?" To which she replied: "MY PURPOSE IS THE SALVATION OF SOULS. Divine healing is secondary to the transformation of a life. Today, that is still the PURPOSE of The Kathryn Kuhlman Foundation, as we continue to minister to the needs of people in this country and abroad through the outreaches of the Foundation.

Kathryn Kuhlman was born-again at the age of fourteen in the Methodist Church of Concordia, Missouri. In her own words, she said of that experience and her ministry: "It was the beginning of something that changed my whole life. All that I knew was the glorious new birth experience, and (as a young girl) when I went to preach to those farmers in Idaho, I could tell them nothing more than what I had experienced: that Jesus would forgive their sins. So, I preached salvation all across Idaho to every farmer, to everyone who would listen; but gradually I began to realize there was someone besides the Father and the Son - there was this Third Person of the Trinity. I felt compelled to know more regarding Him and, as I began searching and studying God's Word, I could see that divine healing also was in the atonement."

"It was in Franklin, Pennsylvania in the old Billy Sunday Tabernacle. I had gone to Franklin by faith (l946), not knowing what I would find there. It was in the third service, as I was preaching on the Holy Spirit, sharing with the people the little that I knew about that Third Person of the Trinity - a woman stood up and testified to her healing of a tumor. That was the first healing that took place in this ministry. It happened without the laying on of hands, without any special prayer; it just happened as a woman sat in the audience while I was preaching on the power of the Holy Spirit. Since that time, there have been thousands and thousands of healings. WHAT IS THE SECRET? It is the Third Person of the Trinity - the Holy Spirit!"

Kathryn Kuhlman always pointed men and women to Jesus, emphasizing that the greatest miracle was the transformation of a life. She often said:
"I believe in miracles with every atom of my being... because I believe in God - but Kathryn Kuhlman has nothing to do with the healing of sick bodies. I have no healing power. It's the power of God that does the healing. The only part I have in it is making Jesus real to the hearts of men and women. Any results there might be in this life of mine, is not Kathryn Kuhlman. It's the Holy Spirit; IT'S WHAT THE HOLY SPIRIT DOES THROUGH A YIELDED VESSEL."

Fifty stations carried her thirty-minute broadcasts, five days a week, covering most of the nation; in Canada; and overseas broadcasts reaching much of Europe. The last ten years of her life, her weekly half-hour television programs (produced at CBS in Los Angeles) were shown throughout the United States and Canada. Many of her radio sermons and television programs from the "I Believe in Miracles" series are available today from the Foundation's office.

Kathryn Kuhlman had a heart for missions as well, and during her lifetime The Kathryn Kuhlman Foundation erected and presented, debt-free, the following Mission Stations to native congregations as a gift. After her Homegoing, the last two were erected, with the Memorial Church in El Salvador paid for by gifts from her Canadian friends.

1. Corn Island, Nicaragua, Central America
2. Boaco, Nicaragua, Central America
3. Waspam, Nicaragua, Central America
4. Choluteca, Honduras, Central America
5. San Isidro, Costa Rica
6. Esteli, Nicaragua, Central America
7. Thakurpukur, India
8. Macau

10. Cotonou, Dahomey, West Africa
11. Mar del Plata, Argentina, South America
12. Santa Lucia, Nicaragua, Central America
13. Taipei, Formosa
14. Pretoria, South Africa
15. Johannesburg, South Africa
16. Rustenburg, South Africa
17. East London, South Africa
18. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

21. Ranger Clinic, Saigon, Viet Nam
22. Bible School Reconstruction, Managua, Nicaragua
23. Kathryn Kuhlman Memorial Church, Nairobi, East Africa
24. Kathryn Kuhlman Memorial Church, El Salvador, Central America

Today, the outreaches of the Foundation, both in this country and abroad, are supported by free-will contributions to this ministry, as the Holy Spirit lays it upon the hearts of individuals to give.

Kathryn Kuhlman went Home to be with the Lord on February 20, 1976, but the legacy she left of anointed teachings and works, are still being used of the Holy Spirit to bless countless lives.

The PURPOSE of the Foundation is to get the glorious message of the Gospel out, as far and as effectively as possible...to share with others the love of Jesus and His saving grace. We are also here to encourage the Body of Christ, and to agree in prayer with YOU for whatever miracle is needed in your life or for whatever burden is upon your heart.

Always remember, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD!

MIRACLES ON THE ISLAND

I am so happy to return to the island of Labuan in East Malaysia. The last time I was in Labuan was in 2005. It is a beautiful island with nice beaches and people.

Here is a picture of me standing in front of a restaurant on the beach.

I am having steam boat dinner with the leadership team in Hope Labuan on the last night. We had so much food! Thank Kevin and everyone for the yummy food and fellowship. (below)

I am flying on Malaysia Wings Airline. It was fun! (above)

Miracles on the Island...

7There was an estate nearby that belonged to Publius, the chief official of the island. He welcomed us to his home and for three days entertained us hospitably. 8His father was sick in bed, suffering from fever and dysentery. Paul went in to see him and, after prayer, placed his hands on him and healed him. 9When this had happened, the rest of the sick on the island came and were cured. 10They honored us in many ways and when we were ready to sail, they furnished us with the supplies we needed. Acts 28:7-10

Apostle Paul and his friends were shipwrecked on Malta Island but they did not allow this incident to stop them from moving in the power of God. Apostle Paul prayed for the chief official's father on the island to be healed from fever and dysentery. God performed a miracle upon Apostle Paul's laying of hands and prayer. Then words spread like fire on the island that there was a man who could heal with the power of God. Many sick people on the island flocked to receive prayer for healing.

I am reminded of this story when we were conducting three healing meetings on Labuan island. Words spread all over town that we were conducting healing meetings. Many people, both young and old, came to receive prayer for healing. A family even caught a plane to the Labuan for the healing meeting. We shared a message of God's love and prayed for miracles to happen in the lives of people. We witnessed the power of God healing many people, emotionally and physically.

There was a young girl who suffered from vision impairment for the past year. She could not read from a long distance. After prayer, God healed this young girl's vision. She went all the way to the back of the church and was able to read every word on the PowerPoint. The whole church rejoiced at the mercy and grace of God.

If God used Apostle Paul and his friends who was shipwrecked on Malta island to perform miracles. God can use us to do great things wherever and whatever situation we are in. Glory to Him.

SUNSET IN KOTA KINABALU, SABAH

I had a wonderful afternoon on the beach with Ps Anthony and Moi Moi in Kota Kinabalu. I love the sea and beach. We had fresh coconut drinks and relaxed on the beach. Since I bought a new SLR camera, I was very eager to take photos of the sunset. I am still learning how to use my SLR camera. Anyone want to give me free tuition on how to use SLR camera? Ha-ha.

Guess what we had for dinner in Kota Kinabalu? Seafood! KK is famous for seafood. It is very fresh. At this restaurant, all the fish, prawns and crabs were in the water tanks and still alive before the chefs cook them. Wow! The crabs were tasty!

One of the things that God spoke to me lately is "Intimacy with Him". Jesus was very intimate with His Father when He was on earth. Jesus said, "I and the Father are one"

25Jesus answered, "I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father's name speak for me, 26but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. 27My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. 29My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. 30I and the Father are one." John 10:25-29.

I want to be like Jesus who had a close relationship with God. Jesus did what God told him to do on earth. Jesus performed all the miracles through His relationship with God.

One of the great healings that took place in Kota Kinabalu was to see three totally deaf and mute people be healed by God at Sunday service. After prayer, they could hear the sounds of music and people praying for the first time. The whole church rejoiced at the mercy and grace of God upon their lives. Let's expect God to do more miracles at we draw close to Him.

MY FIRST TRIP TO SEOUL, KOREA

I have always dreamed of visiting Seoul, Korea since I watched the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul when I was in school. Korea is an amazing place. There are so many Korean cars on the road! They come in all kinds of shapes and colours. Hyundai cars are definitely the favourite among the residents of Seoul. Another thing that amazed me about Korea is that machines can talk to people. There are household machines that can talk at home like electrical appliances and in public, talking parking meters.

I am standing at the Korean Garden in Seoul (above & below)

The streets in Seoul are full of cars (below)

Taking a photo with some Korean Christians at the University (Below)

Joseph and I went on a cable car to the "Seoul Tower" A bit scary! I don't like height but it was fun.

A beautiful view of the city from the cable car (below)

A photo of the "Seoul Tower" (above)

I love Korean food! We went out to "Korean Restaurant". It was delicious! All you can eat!

One of the highlights of this trip was when Joseph and I went to the hospital to pray for healing. We prayed for two people in the garden of the hospital and both of them were touched by God. One person even said the "Sinner's Prayer" in the garden after we prayed for healing. This lady had a car accident and she wore a brace because of the pain in her back. After we prayed, she felt better. Another lady felt the peace of God after prayer. We walked out of the hospital with rejoicing in our hearts because God revealed His power and love to two people.

Recently, God challenged me to believe Him to work miracles outside the walls of the church building. I have heard so many Christians witness God healing people in public places. I want God to do miracles in my daily life like Jesus did when He was walking on earth.

As you go, preach this message: 'The kingdom of heaven is near.' Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Matthew 10:7-8

FULL MOON FESTIVAL IN HONG KONG

I am really glad to meet up with my cousin (Tung) and his wife in Hong Kong. I stayed in their beautiful apartment for one week which overlook the sea. I am so happy to see my cousin accepted Christ while studying in Australia. I had the privilege of bringing him to Christ over 15 ago years. Both Tung and his wife are serving God in Hong Kong. I can see that God is blessing his career, marriage and family. He also has a cute son called Joshua.

(Above photo) We went to "All you can eat" supper at a nice hotel in Hong Kong. You can see that I really enjoy the food in Hong Kong!

My first ever "Full Moon Festival" in Hong Kong. It was so much fun as thousand of people gathered at Victoria Park to celebrate this special event in Chinese calendar. It was a public holiday in Hong Kong.

I just bought my first SLR Canon 1000D camera in Hong Kong because the electronic goods are cheaper. I took many photos with my new camera. I really like all the features on this camera. You can see the special effects on my new camera.

(Below Photo) A traditional dance performance at Full Moon Festival.

I took a photo with colorful lanterns at Full Moon Festival. The whole park was filled with colorful array of lights.

(Photo below) At the park, hundreds of people sitting and chatting in small circles with their friends and family. I had to borrow a lantern for a photo! By the way, I really enjoy eating "Full Moon Cake". Anyone got some left over????

(Photo below) This is my main transportation in Hong Kong - MTR, underground train. It is so fast and easy to travel in Hong Kong. It can be jam pack on the train, especially during rush hours in the morning and after work.

I thank God for a great healing happened at Hope Hong Kong Filipino Healing service. A Filipino lady had a big lump on her wrist and after prayer the lump totally disappeared! There were 23 people accepted Christ at this healing service. God is moving!

1When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. 2For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. 4My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, 5so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power. 1 Cor 2: 1-5

I want to encourage all of us with these verses by Apostle Paul to the believers in Corinthians. He inspired the believers about the Holy Spirit's power in preaching of the Gospel. We need to rely on God's power as we serve Him and not just on men's wisdom. Let the power of God be in our daily life so the world may know Him.
