MIRACLES ON THE ISLAND

I am so happy to return to the island of Labuan in East Malaysia. The last time I was in Labuan was in 2005. It is a beautiful island with nice beaches and people.

Here is a picture of me standing in front of a restaurant on the beach.

I am having steam boat dinner with the leadership team in Hope Labuan on the last night. We had so much food! Thank Kevin and everyone for the yummy food and fellowship. (below)

Miracles on the Island...

7There was an estate nearby that belonged to Publius, the chief official of the island. He welcomed us to his home and for three days entertained us hospitably. 8His father was sick in bed, suffering from fever and dysentery. Paul went in to see him and, after prayer, placed his hands on him and healed him. 9When this had happened, the rest of the sick on the island came and were cured. 10They honored us in many ways and when we were ready to sail, they furnished us with the supplies we needed. Acts 28:7-10

Apostle Paul and his friends were shipwrecked on Malta Island but they did not allow this incident to stop them from moving in the power of God. Apostle Paul prayed for the chief official's father on the island to be healed from fever and dysentery. God performed a miracle upon Apostle Paul's laying of hands and prayer. Then words spread like fire on the island that there was a man who could heal with the power of God. Many sick people on the island flocked to receive prayer for healing.

I am reminded of this story when we were conducting three healing meetings on Labuan island. Words spread all over town that we were conducting healing meetings. Many people, both young and old, came to receive prayer for healing. A family even caught a plane to the Labuan for the healing meeting. We shared a message of God's love and prayed for miracles to happen in the lives of people. We witnessed the power of God healing many people, emotionally and physically.

There was a young girl who suffered from vision impairment for the past year. She could not read from a long distance. After prayer, God healed this young girl's vision. She went all the way to the back of the church and was able to read every word on the PowerPoint. The whole church rejoiced at the mercy and grace of God.

If God used Apostle Paul and his friends who was shipwrecked on Malta island to perform miracles. God can use us to do great things wherever and whatever situation we are in. Glory to Him.
