MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR

I am writing to wish all my friends from around the world a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I am praying that you will experience many great miracles, blessings and breakthroughs from God in 2011. I believe God wants to continue to do awesome things in our lives, families and communities. Let us have an expectant heart for God to move more powerfully in 2011. Our God is forever loving, faithful and powerful. All things are possible with our God! Read Psalm 100

1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. 2 Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. 3 Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his[a];
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. 5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

SHOW ME YOUR GLORY - THIRD DAY

I am really like this song called "Show me your glory" written by Third Day. God desires to show His glory and presence in our lives just like Moses in the Bible.

I caught a glimpse of Your splendor
In the corner of my eye
The most beautiful thing I've ever seen
And it was like a flash of lightning
Reflected off the sky
And I know I'll never be the same

Show me Your glory
Send down Your presence
I want to see Your face
Show me Your glory
Majesty shines about You
I can't go on without You, Lord

When I climb down the mountain
And get back to my life
I won't settle for ordinary things
I'm gonna follow You forever
And for all of my days
I won't rest 'til I see You again
Show me Your glory
Show me Your glory
I can't live without You

HIS STILL VOICE

I had a great time in Penang, Malaysia. I took some photos of some famous eating places in Penang.

HIS STILL VOICE

God STILL speaks today, so take time to LISTEN to His STILL voice.

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27

This was a simple statement Jesus made 2000 years ago, but it has such a powerful life impact on earth if we believe it. Jesus simply declared to the Jews that God speaks to His people; God know His people and they follow the voice of God. If we have a speaking God, then we should start listening to His prompting in our lives. God can speak to us anytime of the day and place.

One day when I was having breakfast, I was prompted by God to open the newspaper and read the employment section. I was not looking for a job because I was already had a full-time job. However, I just followed the prompting of God. As I read the employment section of the newspaper, I saw a job vacancy that sounded interesting. I had another prompting from God to apply for the position even though I had no experience in this area. I just obeyed the prompting of God and sent in my job application and the rest is history. I ended up working in this new job for five years because I really enjoyed it.

God opened the door for me because I listened to the prompting of God while I was having breakfast in the morning. Let us allow God to speak to us today.

IN HIS TIME

IN HIS TIME

God's PROMISES come in God's TIME, so continue to have FAITH in Him.

Genesis 21:1-7

1 Now the LORD was gracious to Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did for Sarah what he had promised. 2 Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised him. 3 Abraham gave the name Isaac[a] to the son Sarah bore him. 4 When his son Isaac was eight days old, Abraham circumcised him, as God commanded him. 5 Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him. 6 Sarah said, “God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me.” 7 And she added, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? Yet I have borne him a son in his old age.”

It must have been a great day of celebration when Sarah gave birth to a son named Isaac. Abraham rejoiced at seeing the fulfilment of God’s promise. He waited for twenty-five years before his wife gave birth to a son. God had spoken to him many times that his descendents would be as numerous as the grains of sand on the beach and the stars in the sky. However, Abraham and Sarah were beyond the age of child bearing. At one point in time, Sarah decided not to wait any longer and offered her servant, called Hager, to Abraham conceive a child. It was not God’s intention for Abraham to have a child with another woman. At the appointed time, Sarah became pregnant through Abraham and gave birth to Isaac.

God remembered and kept His promise to Abraham according to His timing, and not Abraham’s timing.

Will we continue to trust in the Lord for His promise to come to pass? Will we continue to persevere in the things of God in order to see His promise to pass? Will we continue to be at peace as we wait for the promise of God? I believe we can celebrate like Abraham if we remain steadfast in God and His promises.

God is always faithful and carries out His promises according to His timetable because He knows the best time.

GREATER

I spent some time in the village and taking photos of the scenery

GREATER

I love the song by Chris Tomlin called "Our God is Greater". It remind me of the greatness of God and that He is able to do all things. Whatever you are going through in your life at the moment, God is always there to give a helping hand.
Reach out to God's love and power today.
