MY ONLY REQUEST...WORD OF KNOWLEDGE

I always love to minister at Hope Newcastle church. Chris and Ann-Marie Skinner who oversee Hope Newcastle are my good friends. It is a very multicultural church with many African brothers and sisters. The atmosphere in the church is always joyful and full of the Spirit .

I thank God for Hope Newcastle because it was here in July 2006 on a missions trip, where I began to move in the prophetic and healing gifts.

I returned to Hope Newcastle in May 2007 for Healing Service. Ann-Marie the wife of Chris asked me on the first day in Newcastle,

"What would you like the most in Newcastle?"

Without hesitation, I replied,

"I really like God to use me in giving 'Words of Knowledge' to heal people in Newcastle".

I have seen God use people like Benny Hinn to give Word of Knowledge in healing crusades and I would like to experience it first hand. God heard my request!

During the "Healing Workshop" in Newcastle, God gave me a word of knowledge that Kate (a nursing student) has one leg shorter than the other.

The most exciting thing was, Christine, a leader in Hope Newcastle, also had the same word of knowledge. I quickly measured Kate's leg and the left leg was shorter than the right leg. We all prayed for Kate's left leg to lengthen and God did a miracle! (See Video).



Healing Testimony: God lengthened Kate's left leg

On Friday night after Peter was teaching us about the healing ministry, we were all given the opportunity to pray for any healing that we needed. I’ve had ongoing back problems and pain for the past year or so and I brought this forward for healing.

I couldn’t believe it when Peter and another church leader both said they had received a word of knowledge that one of my legs was shorter than the other and this was why I was having so many problems.

I realized that this was connected to an accident I had 12 years ago where I broke my right femur and had to have it plated. So Peter sat me down to look and confirm this and sure enough my left leg was ½ inch shorter than my right! So the church laid their hands on me and prayed for my left leg to be healed.

I started to feel the tension in my left leg disappear and Peter compared both my legs again, my legs were exactly the same length! As soon as I got up and started walking around I could feel the difference and throughout the rest of the evening I felt these strange sensations in my right leg as my whole body began to realign.

Praise God for such a miracle! The healing was a beautiful gift but the true treasure is God’s glory that was shown through this; we can expect the unexpected from him always!

THE FULL GOSPEL - A MESSAGE OF LOVE & POWER

The last 6 months has been for me like living in a dream; being able to travel around Asia (Malaysia, Singapore) and Australia (Melbourne, Newcastle) to share the gospel and conduct Healing Services.

God has opened my eyes to see so many healings and miracles. I felt like God has taken me to another spiritual dimension altogether. It is beyond my expectation in serving God.

When I pondered about the works God is doing through me and our churches. God reminded me that we need to preach the FULL GOSPEL.

What is the FULL GOSPEL? It is simply declaring the sacrifice of Christ on the cross for our sins and the Resurrection power of Christ to heal the sick and set people free from all bondages. Read Matthew 10:7-8

I want to encourage all of us to preach the FULL GOSPEL so that the world may see the demonstration of His love and healing power. He came to set us free in spirit, body and soul.

God wants to take all of us to a new spiritual dimension of knowing Him and unleashing His matchless power.

Tuesday Night Healing Testimonies

The swelling in the ankle disappeared-

DANIEL EVAN

Two years ago I incurred quite a severe sporting injury that damaged my ankle and left me very susceptible to further injury. This injury worsened two months ago when I rolled my ankle, leaving my foot noticeably swollen and causing considerable pain whenever I stretch or rotate my ankle. During our Healing Prayer Meeting, I felt the Holy Spirit urging me to go forward for prayer.

As the leaders prayed over me, I felt God’s presence fall on me so powerfully, and the pain slowly dissipated until I no longer felt any pain in my ankle. God further confirmed His miraculous works when I returned home and realised the swelling had also disappeared.

Praise God for revealing his grace and love through me and giving me a tangible testimony that I can now use to share Christ to my friends and family who are yet to know Him.

New Believer encounter with God - BRETT O'DONNELL

Hi, my name is Brett O'Donnell and I have been coming to Hope now for 6 months since accepting Christ into my life. Since then, some wonderful things have been happening in my life. One example is what happened last Tuesday at our prayer meeting held at the Princess Theatre. That morning, I had to move my broken down car into my yard by myself at around 5.30am in the morning before I went to work. Now my house has a large concrete fence and as I pushed the car into the yard, I was jammed between the concrete fence and the car twisting my shoulder and putting me in a lot of pain throughout the day. As I had to go to work I didn't have a chance for anyone to look at my shoulder and just put up with the pain. That night I went to pray for my uncle as he has cancer, with my shoulder still hurting. I found it hard to concentrate after I had prayed for my uncle. So with the assistance of others around me they helped me keep on praying. After that, we all joined hands and then I asked for the pain in my shoulder to leave me so I can concentrate on praying for my uncle’s health.

I felt a tingling throughout my shoulder and the pain that had plagued me all day was gone. Praise God for his compassion and healing and I hope we can all feel God’s love and amazing strength through our lives.

God removed the piece of bone: JABEZ LOH

Recently, I discovered that I have a protruding piece of bone coming out of my gum. It has been causing me pain ever since. On Sunday, I accidentally broke a part of the bone and with the remainder still stuck in my gum. The pain and discomfort was getting worst. On Tuesday, at Corporate Prayer night, as I was praying for others for healing, I suddenly felt something pop out. There was this small piece of something hard in my mouth. At first, I thought it was something that was stuck in my tooth that came out.

When I went home, I realised the broken piece of bone had actually pop out suddenly. I had been trying to remove it but it refuse to budge since last Sunday. I really thank God for removing the piece of bone out of my gum.

No Eczema attack for 3 weeks: JESSIE YAP

I have been having mild eczema attacks (skin irritation that causes inflammatory condition of the skin followed by itching and redness) for 2 years. It causes my skin to be red and scaly throughout autumn and winter. The attacks always come at night and I feel discomfort all over my body.

Recently, it has gotten worse and I feel the itchiness throughout the day. This has bought much inconvenience to me, as I always have to apply lotion to my body to stop the itch.

Three weeks ago, I attended the Corporate Prayer Meeting held at Woolloongabba. It was a Healing Prayer meeting. I decided to pray for God's healing to be upon my skin condition.Amazingly, for the whole week, the itching has lessened considerably I only felt the itch at one spot a day. I started to wonder 'This must really be God working in my life, this really must be God's healing'.

From then on, I began to proclaim God's healing with faith. And true enough, God has been working as I began to have more faith in His healing power. I haven’t had eczema attacks until today and I truly believe that God will completely heal me from this condition.

DOING GREATER MIRACLES, MELBOUNRE

Can you imagine with me for a moment of doing the works of Christ on earth. Jesus came to preach the gospel and heal the sick. Jesus drove out the demons, raised the dead, gave sight to the blind....Then, he said we could do likewise and do even greater works.

12I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. John 14:12-13

I really want God to work great miracles through my life so that many will come to the kingdom.

What about you? When we desire to be a vessel for God and a channel of His blessing to the world, He will use us in a great way!

God put her son's organ in the right place...

I want to give thanks and glory to GOD for healing me and my son, Daniel. Several weeks ago when Peter Truong was here on 22nd April (Healing Service), I went forward for prayer for two things. One was for healing on my shoulders. I experienced a fair bit of pain there and my children were called upon often to give me a massage to provide relief.

Secondly, I asked for healing for my youngest son, Daniel who is 7 years old.

Pansy prayed for me and told me that she sensed fear in me and that the pain on my shoulders was caused by that fear, and after praying, she could see lifting of that pain. The pain did not lift straight away. Then when Pansy prayed for Daniel, she said to me that the problem with Daniel was related to my fear.

When I went home over the next few days, I asked God to reveal what were my fears. God revealed those fears to me and I released them to God, and ask God for healing. I believe that it was through surrendering those fears that God healed me of my pain in my shoulders. Praise God for that.

In April, a female doctor told me that one of Daniel’s organs was not in the right place. She checked him twice and came to the same conclusion on both occasions.

I then took Daniel to my own doctor and he confirmed the diagnosis. An ultrasound was taken and it confirmed that the organ was not in the right place, and surgery was necessary. I asked God to put his organ in the right place so that he wouldn’t need to undergo surgery. Many people prayed for him.

Two Wednesdays ago, I took Daniel to the surgeon and when he examined him, he told me that the organ had moved and was now in the right area, and that Daniel no longer needs surgery. Praise God for his healing power on Daniel and me. He is a good GOD and He heals.

ENCOUNTER WITH PASTOR CHE AHN

A few years ago, Dr Wilson Lim invited me to a Healing Conference by Pastor Che Ahn in Brisbane, Australia.

The Lord has used Pastor Che Ahn in Healing ministry around the world. His church is called Harvest Rock Church.

I was so blessed to meet Pastor Che Ahn in person. I think it was a divine appointment! I was standing in front of the bookstore at the conference and Pastor Che Ahn suddenly appeared! I did not hesitate and quickly asked him to lay hands on me and pray for the anointing of God. I was so happy to receive prayer from Pastor Che Ahn. I wish I had my camera and video with me on that special night! hehehee

I am reading Pastor Che Ahn book called "How to pray for Healing". He shared 5 importance essentials to move in the gifts of healing:

1. Faith is relational. God wants us to have a personal relationship with Him and have faith in His Word.
"Have faith in God" (Mark 11:22).

2. Faith is revelational. When words of knowledge are given, people's faith is released and many receive healing. "Faith comes by hearing and hearing comes by the Word of God" (Romans 10:17).

3. Faith is risky. We step out in faith and God backs it up. We do the ridiculous and God does the miraculous. Matt. 14:25-30 tells us of when Peter stepped out of the boat and walked on water.

4. Faith is real. We cannot allow what we see or feel to shake our faith.
"Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see" (Hebrews 11:1).

5. Faith is resolute. Believe for the healing until the healing comes.
"Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe you have received it, and it will be yours" (Mark 11:24).

I highly recommend that you get a copy of this book on healing by Pastor Che Ahn. It is very practical and easy reading. I really love the healing testimonies in this book.

I pray that one day; I can meet Pastor Che Ahn again and tell him how God is leading me to Healing Ministry and through his prayer.

Wouldn't it be exciting if you and I began to live in the realm of miracles in our everyday life? Frank Damazio new book called "Miracles" exhorts believers to trust God for it!

I highly recommend this book, it will inspire your faith in God for miracles to occur in your daily life. Our God is a God of Miracles! The bible says "Jesus is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever". The Christ who performed miracles 2000 years ago is still performing miracles in our days.

When the men came to Jesus, they said, "John the Baptist sent us to you to ask, 'Are you the one who was to come, or should we expect someone else?' " At that very time Jesus cured many who had diseases, sicknesses and evil spirits, and gave sight to many who were blind. So he replied to the messengers, "Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor. Luke 7:20-22

SIMON ABLE TO HEAR AFTER PRAYER


On Saturday night at the Oceania Convention, Pastor Simon asked people who needed prayer for healing to stand up. I walked passed Eric who was praying for Simon's left ear. He was unable to hear properly.

The doctor told Simon that he had loss 50% of hearing in his left ear. There was no possible medical treatment for Simon's ear. It is a good thing that I didn't hear the doctor report! I just laid hands on Simon's left ear and commanded it to be opened in the name of Jesus (Watch Video)



Simon told us that God has miraculously restored his ear and he can hear clearly for the first time. Furthermore, Simon brought his whole family to church for the healing meeting. Simon's mum was healed of mingraine and his sister accepted Christ a few weeks later. Miracles pave the way for people to receive Christ. Glory to God!

Pastor Mark and I have known each other for 17 years. He is one of my best friends and a spiritual mentor. We first met each other at a missionary organisation called "Youth With A Mission" in Melbourne, Australia.

Soon, we became like David and Jonathan in the bible at the missionary compound. Our friendship was centred on Knowing Christ and making Him known to others. Pastor Mark went to Indonesia to be a missionary for a few years. When he returned from the mission field, I invited him to join Hope Movement. I am so glad to see Ps Mark joined the movement and latter married to a very godly and beautiful woman - Susan.

I was delighted to conduct the first "Supernatural Sunday" in Hope Melbourne, City Centre. Praise God, we had a record attendance on Sunday and 12 people accepted Christ.

The most remarkable healing testimony was from a Papua New Guinea woman called Sally An Bagita, who had gum disease for 7 years. She wrote a testimony giving a record of progressive miraculous healing and deliverance from satanic curse. (watch video)

I am really inspired by the ministry of Jesus to heal the sick. Jesus preached the gospel and healed the sick wherever he went. Let us believe God for more miraculous healing in our care groups, church, workplace and everywhere we go.

Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed, and he healed them. Matthew 4:23-24

During the night, my gums swelled up, so I made salted mouthwash to wash away the blood and ease the pain in my gum. Up until now, I am still using the salt wash. The bad smell in my mouth is just disappearing.

16/4/07
I noticed something different about my face. The fallen bottom jaw has been pulled up and rounded my face. I believe the Lord God replaced the 3 missing bones from my right jaw and inside my head (2 were eaten away by a growth and one was removed by the specialist operating on me in 2001)

I noticed the black streaks on my teeth disappearing. I asked Lily (my daughter in Christ) from Indonesia, as to why my teeth were developing black streaks. She said that "this was the sign of unhealthy gums". During that week, I broke a curse on my gums and my teeth. I mentioned this to Lily. She asked me if I knew who had done it. I said that I didn't have a clue.

I was praying for a request for my son, when the Lord opened up my mind and showed me how the curse happened. We, Papuans, chew betelnut. In 1994, Opa, a young man next door was selling betelnut, so I bought some. I believe that the packet was cursed. A few days later, I stopped chewing it because I felt my gum beginning to feel sore. From that time up to 2001 I began to get sick, I felt dizzy and there were many times where I went on sick leave for 2-3 weeks. But when I would go the doctor, there was no proof of sickness, I was normal. It happened continually until I began to go deaf on my right ear. ENT doctor checked and did X-ray on my head and found I had a big hole just above my ear. This was the curse that I prayed to break.

I noticed my eyes were wide open, not drooping. The whites, that used be red became white and remained white. I mentioned to Lily that during the healing, 2 weeks ago; while the 2 young church workers were praying with me, there was "a Hand" around my right ankle. It was a very tender hold. I was tempted to look, but I could not open my eyes. Last night during my prayer time, the Lord God showed me something. 10 months ago, Geno, a sorcerer, who is my older sister’s de facto tied my right leg (practised voodoo on me) . At that time I was crossing a concrete drain, suddenly my feet went up and I crashed in. About 3 months ago in Melbourne, as Lily and I were crossing La Trobe street, with no one behind me, I crashed into the bitumen (hurt my right leg). Both times "a Hand" reached out to stop me from hurting my upper body. I believe "the Hand" that protected me is "the same Hand" that untied my right leg on Sunday service.

PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW ! I asked for one healing and the Lord gave me multiple healings. It's a sign for your ministry. God will multiply all that you do and say in Jesus' Name.

PROPHETIC MINISTRY IN SINGAPORE

Prophetic Ministry in Singapore
During a mission trip to Newcastle-Australia in July 2006, I discovered by incident that God desired for me to start moving in spiritual gifts like prophecy and healing. It was really funny how it all began.

I lost my evangelism books at the airport on the first day of the missions trip. Then, my laptop did not work on the second day of the mission trip. I had nothing to lean on after that! God had removed my evangelism books and laptop so I can learn to listen to the Holy Spirit.

Ever since that mission trip, I tried to exercise my spiritual gift of prophecy as often as I could and as naturally as I can. I am beginning to see the importance of using spiritual gifts to encourage and build God's people in Hope churches.

Apostle Paul said,

I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong - that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith. Romans 1:11-12

Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy...But everyone who prophecies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort. 1 Cor 14:1-3

We can bless so many people around us when we begin to walk with the Holy Spirit and exercise spiritual gifts. God can use anyone in spiritual gifts but we need to desire for it and our motivation must be based on love for God and others. We don't use spiritual gifts our own gain or recognition but to build up the body of God to fulfil the Great Commission.

I thank God for Ps Jeffery Chong (Hope Singapore) for given me opportunity to exercise and grow in the gift of prophecy. He arranged for me to give prophetic words to various group in the church such as Tertiary students, Family Group, Working Adults, Youth Group and the Filipino Group.

I want to encourage everyone who is reading this blog entry to ask God to use you in spiritual gifts such as prophecy. Start small! Wait upon God for encouraging scripture verses for your sheep or leaders.

Once you start using spiritual gifts, keep going and don't stop even during times of discouragement. Don't worry when you make mistakes. I made plenty of mistakes, I try to move on and learn from my mistakes.
