TERTIARY CAMP, HOPE SINGAPORE

Tertiary Camp, Hope Singapore

The tertiary student ministry in Hope Singapore has really grown over the past few years. Pastor Jasmine Poon invited me to conduct a "Healing Workshop" at the tertiary student camp held at Nexus auditorium on Wednesday afternoon. There were around 200 students at the camp.

Many students came forward to receive prayer for healing. The most notable
healing on that day was a student named Jeremy. He has had colour blindness for a long time. Jeremy was unable to see the colour red and after prayer God restored his vision. There was jubilation in the auditorium when Jeremy was able to read the read the red colour digital clock at the entrance to the Nexus auditorium.

All of us at the camp were amazed by the power of God. I am
reminded about story of Saul in the bible. He was blinded for 3 days and God used Ananias to restore Saul's vision.

Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, "Brother Saul, the Lord - Jesus appeared to you on the road as you were coming here - has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit." Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul's eyes and he could see again. He got up and was baptized. Act 9:17-18

I want to encourage all of us to believe God for miracles. God can use anyone! Ananias was reluctant when God called him to pray for Saul. He was afraid of Saul, who was a persecutor of the church. But when Ananias step out in obedience, he performed a miracle by opening the eyes of Saul.

"Miracles happen when we step out in the name of Jesus" Peter Truong
