A FRESH NEW ANOINTING UPON US!

I had a great afternoon visiting the Sarawak Cultural Village with Mike, Lean Choo, CN and Christine in Kuching, East Malaysia. There was a lot to see and experience at the Sarawak Cultural Village. Our tour guide explained to us all the historical and cultural facts about each tribe in Sarawak. He walked us through all the longhouses and explained how the people lived in the past. The highlight of the day was to watch the cultural dance performances by various tribes in Sarawak. We enjoyed it very much.

A fresh new anointing upon us

I really sense a fresh new anointing of the Holy Spirit upon us as we change our name to Hope International Ministries (HIM). Our God is going to pour His spirit upon the movement in an even greater measure than before. Be ready to catch the anointing from God to perform even greater miracles, signs and wonders. When there is righteousness in the movement, there will also be an outpouring of the blessings of God. A new day has come upon us!

Isaiah 43:18-19 (New International Version)

18 "Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.

19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the desert
and streams in the wasteland.

I love this promise from the Bible. God is going to do new things in our lives. We need to believe in God's blessings and anointing upon our lives. Yesterday, we had an awesome healing meeting in Serian. We witnessed God heal many people from neck pain, shoulder pain, stomach pain, leg pain, knee pain and one person was set free from a long-term bondage. The presence of God was strong in the meeting. We experienced the power of God to heal and save people. Let's believe God for a fresh new anointing from this day forward. Amen!

POWER OF GOD CHAMPAIGN

I am writing this blog entry in Melbourne, Australia. I am so blessed to be part of the "Power of God Campaign" in Hope Melbourne City Centre and Hope Melbourne Darebin Centre. The campaign will last for seven weeks and the whole objective of this campaign is to help each member of the church experience the power of God in their daily lives through prayer.

The Power of God Campaign

It was so encouraging to see the power of God evident with people receiving emotional, physical and spiritual healing over two weeks in Melbourne. Today at Healing Service in Hope Melbourne City Centre, we witnessed many divine healings during prayer. People were healed from back pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, stomach pain, migraine etc. Five people came forward to accept Christ during the service.

Zephaniah 3:17 (New International Version)

The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.

What a great promise from God in Zephaniah 3:17. He promises to save us and give us peace with His love. He rejoices over us with singing. We have a mighty God who can save us from all situations in life. He loves us with a great love. Let us continue to follow Him and display his power in our daily lives through prayer. I believe God for more great things to happen during the "Power of God Campaign" in Melbourne. Amen! Please write to me if you have a testimony from the "Power of God Campaign". To God be the glory.

Jesus can do miracles

I shared a message on Sunday morning at Hope Darebin called "Jesus can do miracles" based on the Mark 5:25-34.

Mark 5:25-34 (New International Version)

A large crowd followed and pressed around him. 25And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. 26She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. 27When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, 28because she thought, "If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed." 29Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.

30At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, "Who touched my clothes?"

31"You see the people crowding against you," his disciples answered, "and yet you can ask, 'Who touched me?' "

32But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. 33Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. 34He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering."

A woman who suffered from bleeding for twelve years. She came to Jesus for physical, emotional and spiritual needs. She had faith in God for her healing. I encouraged the church to come before God for their needs and have faith in Him to do great miracles in their lives. This woman in the bible reach out to God and she was blessed with divine healing. We need to reach out to God in our daily lives. God is here to hear our prayers and do great things in our lives.

Healing testimony

A student from Sri Lanka had constant stomach pain for 3 years. After prayer on Thursday night, she no longer had any pain in her stomach. She normally has pain in the stomach when sitting down or drinking. She testified in church on Sunday that there is no more pain as she go around and perform her daily duty. Glory to God.

Indeed, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever! He never change. His power and love remain the same for all to enjoy. Let us reach out to Jesus today in faith and see great miracles.

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE

I am blogging this entry in Brisbane on a Saturday afternoon. The weather here is so beautiful; another sunny day in Brisbane. Recently I was in Adelaide to visit family and friends. Here are videos and photos.

Facts about Adelaide

Adelaide is the capital and most populous city of the Australian state of South Australia, and is the fifth-largest city in Australia, with a population of more than 1.1 million.

Nothing is impossible

On Friday night, I bought the new Planetshaker worship CD called "Deeper". I really love one of the songs on the CD called "Nothing is impossible"

The lyrics of the song "Nothing is Impossible" by Planetshakers

Through You I can do anything
I can do all things
'Cause it's You who gives me strength
Through you blind eyes are open
Strongholds are broken
I am living by faith
Nothing is impossible
I am not gonna live by what I see
I am not gonna live by what I feel
Deep down I know that You're here with me
And I know that You can do anything
I believe, I believe
I believe, I believe in You

I was really touched by the lyrics of this song. It is simple but powerful. I want to do the impossible because God is living inside of me. I want to believe God to open the eyes of the blind and break strongholds in the name of Jesus. I want to live by faith and not by what I see or feel. This song really stirs my faith for God to do great miracles in the midst of global financial crisis and swine flu. God is a big God and He can do all things!

Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26

Healing testimony

Recently, I received a wonderful healing testimony in Brisbane. A baby girl had suffered from a skin allergy for a long time. The allergy left her skin red. After the church prayed to God to heal the baby, the baby now has normal skin. God healed her completely! Glory to God!

I am going to Melbourne for two healing services next Wednesday. Let us believe God to do the impossible because He is a miracle working God. Believe God for miracles today!

WONDER WORKING JESUS

I have just returned to Brisbane after one week of catching up with family in Adelaide. It was a very refreshing time for. I am happy to be back in Brisbane after travelling for four weeks in New Zealand, Melbourne and Adelaide. The weather in Brisbane is so beautiful and the sky is so blue. I love my home city very much. It was good seeing my friends again. Below are video and photos of my recent Phillip Island trip.

Facts about Philip Island

Phillip Island is best known for its beautiful sunset penguin parade, although it also offers sheltered beaches to the north and some great surfing beaches to the south. The main town on the island is Cowes, and you can get to the island over a bridge from San Remo. Phillip Island is also well known for the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix.

There are several swimming beaches around Cowes. If you'd prefer to hit the surf then head to one of the many great surfing spots, including Berrys Beach, Cat Bay, Smiths Beach, Summerland and Woolamai.

Wonder Working Jesus

We have a wonder working God. At Tuesday night's prayer meeting in Adelaide, God healed some people from back pain, knee pain and ankle pain. It was awesome to see God at work in the church when we prayed.

In Jesus' days, people were amazed by the power of God demonstrated through miracles and healing. Jesus calmed the storm, Jesus fed the five thousand, Jesus raised the dead, and Jesus healed the blind and so on.

Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. 31But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. John 20:30-31

The bible stated that not all of the miracles are recorded because there would not be enough space. The miracles gave evidence that Jesus is the Son of God. People believed in God through the miracles performed by Jesus and the disciples.

Let us desire for more of the love and power of God in our lives because God wants to reveal His reality to the world. Ask God for a miracle today!

EMPOWERED IN MELBOURNE

I always love returning to Melbourne. I lived in this city for four years (1990-1994). It is a very multicultural city. I love the great variety of food in Chinatown and Lygon Street in Carlton. I went for the famous Vietnamese beef noodles on Swanston Street in Melbourne city for lunch. Then, I had my favorite egg tart at the popular cake shop in Chinatown. Melbourne is great for dinning out and shopping.

Facts of Melbourne City

Melbourne (pronounced /ˈmelbən/) is the more common name for the geographic region and statistical division of the Greater Melbourne metropolitan area. It is the second most populous city in Australia, with a population of approximately 3.8 million (2007 estimate) and serves as the state capital of Victoria. Melbourne is located on the lower reaches of the Yarra River and on the northern and eastern shorelines of Port Phillip and their hinterland. Melbourne is a major centre of commerce, education, tourism, the arts and cultural activities, and also industry. It is consistently ranked one of the most liveable cities in the world. The city is recognised as Australia's 'sporting and cultural capital'.

Empowered in Melbourne

The theme of the Oceania Convention in Melbourne was called "Empowered". God performed many miracles on Sunday night during prayer time. People got healed from various infirmities such as joints pain in the wrist and shoulder, back pain and improved eye vision. The presence of Holy Spirit was strong and everyone was touched by the power of God.

I shared from Mark 16:15-20 before we began to pray for healing

.....they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God. 20Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.

After Jesus ascended to heaven, the disciples were able to perform miracles because Jesus was still with them. They were not working alone but Jesus was working with them to perform miracles. The message of the gospel was confirmed with signs and wonders. We praise God for the demonstration of God's power during the convention in Melbourne. Many people were healed physically, emotionally and spiritually. Let's be empowered by the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. Glory to God!

KINGDOM LIVING

I am writing this blog from Auckland, New Zealand. The weather in Auckland for the past week has been beautiful. The sky is blue and the sun is warm. This is my fourth visit to this wonderful city. I enjoy visiting New Zealand and seeing the Soh family.

Facts about Auckland

The Auckland metropolitan area or Greater Auckland, in the North Island of New Zealand, is the largest and most populous urban area in the country with over 1.3 million residents, 31 percent of the country's population. Demographic trends indicate that it will continue to grow faster than the rest of the country. Increasingly cosmopolitan, Auckland also has the largest Polynesian population of any city in the world, and has seen many people of Asian ethnicity move there in the last two decades.

Video of Auckland

I did a video on top of Mount Eden in Auckland. It is such a beautiful place because it overlooks the whole city and the sea (See video).

Here are some photos taken in Auckland....

Kingdom Living

In my devotion today, I read Romans 14:17 with a fresh insight. I believe God wants us to have "Kingdom Living" so that we can enjoy "Kingdom blessings". When we live for the kingdom of God, we will experience righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Romans 14:17 (New International Version)

17For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit,

We will also experience the power of God in our lives (Romans 15:19). Apostle Paul lived for the kingdom of God and he demonstrated the power of God through the Holy Spirit. God used Apostle Paul to performed signs and miracles.

Romans 15:19 (New International Version) by the power of signs and miracles, through the power of the Spirit. So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ.

When we live for God, He is able to work through us. It was great to see a lady with blurred vision get healed by God. A student with a painful wrist was also healed along with an African man, who received healing of a year-old knee injury at Sunday service in Auckland, New Zealand. Let's live for Christ.
