MANIFEST

I had the opportunity to stay in Melbourne City for ten days which gave me plenty of time for sightseeing and photography. I love this city because there are many things to see and a lot of great places to eat. I love the Vietnamese and Chinese food in Melbourne.

MANIFEST

We have a God that desires to manifest, display or reveal his presence in our lives. God wants to be glorified and exalted in our home, workplace and community. We need to allow God to do His work in and through us. God can do amazing things in our world when we give Him permission. I really want to shine for Jesus with every breath that I have on earth. Would you like to let God shine through you in a wonderful way?

Let the manifestation of God be known in the following areas:

Allow God to manifest in our lives

Nathanael had a firsthand encountered with Jesus. Nathanael first heard of Jesus through Philip who told him about the coming Messiah, Jesus Christ. Later on, Nathanael had a personal encounter with Jesus. Nathanael was amazed by Jesus revealing his true identity. He was further amazed when Jesus described Nathanael as a true Israelite and how Jesus saw Nathanael under the fig tree before Philip told him about Jesus. Nathanael believed that Jesus was the Son of God based on his personal experience and conviction. Read John 1:43-49:

43The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip, he said to him, "Follow me." Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of Bethsaida. 45Philip found Nathanael and told him, "We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph." "Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?" Nathanael asked. "Come and see," said Philip. When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, "Here is a true Israelite, in whom there is nothing false." "How do you know me?" Nathanael asked. Jesus answered, "I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you." Then Nathanael declared, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel." John 1:43-49

Christianity is not a religion but a personal experience with God. We need to have a dynamic relationship with God. Let God manifest Himself in our lives in a real and tangible way.

God longs to reveal His love, wisdom, power and presence in us.

Allow God to manifest in our occupation

Whatever is your occupation, God desires to manifest himself through you. Abraham was just a farmer before God told Abraham that He will make Abraham into a great nation, a great name and a blessing to many people. Read Genesis 12:2

"I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing". Genesis 12: 2

Wherever Abraham went, God used him to be a blessing to the people. Abraham became wealthy because God helped him prosper; he had many animals and abundant crops. God is not limited to the four walls of the church. He can manifest his presence in our daily lives as we carry on with our day to day work.

Allow God to reveal Himself in a powerful way in your occupation.

Allow God to manifest in our surroundings

God desires Christians to manifest His love and healing to the whole world. We are called to be the light of the world and a city on a hill that can be seen from a distance. Let God’s light shine through us in this hurting world.

“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden”. Matthew 5:14

We can make a difference in our society by carrying the message of hope and love found in Jesus Christ.
