THE GLORY OF GOD

Recently, I was in Thailand for healing meetings and God revealed His glory by healing many people (See photos).






We are living in the days when God wants to reveal more and more of His glory on earth through the local church. I really want to know more of God and His glory in my life and ministry. God is so good and loving. He wants to make His presence, love and power known to everyone.

Jn 11:38 Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. Jn 11:39 “Take away the stone,” he said. “But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.” Jn 11:40 Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?” Jn 11:41 So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. Jn 11:42 I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.” Jn 11:43 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” Jn 11:44 The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”

Jesus told Martha that she would see the glory of God if she believed. Jesus reveal the glory of God by raising Lazarus to life (John 11:38-44). Let us seek God's presence so we can believe God for great things in our life, family, career and ministry.

A DAY THAT CHANGED MY LIFE

I thank God for a new beginning. My life was a mess before I accepted Christ into my life. I had a bad past. I had a great sense of insecurity and loneliness.

I was born during the Vietnam War so my family moved around to many places in my childhood. When I arrived in Australia, I got involved in a lifestyle of stealing, hanging out at night clubs and I even ran away from home. I felt so empty on the inside because I was searching for meaning, love and acceptance in life, but I could not find it. Many times, I would go for a long walk by myself trying to find a purpose in life. Sometimes I cried in my room because of the emptiness in my life. I found it really hard it when the music stopped and there were no friends around me. Waiting for the next disco party. My next fix.


One sunny day in the summer of 1989, I decided to make a long bus trip to another part of the city. Far away. I was alone again. I was going nowhere sitting on the bus.

Then a thought suddenly dropped into my heart. Find out about God. I immediately rejected this thought. But this thought became stronger and stronger. I went window shopping and on the way home, I saw a church and somehow I decided to walk into the building. The church was empty; no one was around except the receptionist. I asked if I could speak to someone about God. I think she was rather surprised to see someone walk off the street to a church and ask about God.


Then, I was led into an office. A man explained to me about God with a picture.

He said to me that God loves me and has a wonderful plan for my life (John 10:10). I said to myself, this is great to have a God that loves me and has a plan for my life. Then he said that everyone has sinned in their life (Roman 3:23). Sin is missing the mark. It’s like a person shooting an arrow and missing the target. We all have missed God’s moral standard.

It really struck me as I reflected on all the bad things that I had done in my life. He continued to say that the consequence of sin is death; separation from God, the bible calls it “hell”. Finally, he said that Jesus came to die for me on the cross two thousand years ago so that I can receive forgiveness and the gift of eternal life. He handed to me his hand watch as an illustration of the gift of God.

Gospel Message in Summary


1) God loves us and has a wonderful plan for our life.

I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full (John 10:10)

2) The bible said everyone has sinned in their life.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (Rom 3:23)

Sin is missing the mark. Missing God’s standards. The consequences of sin is death & separation from God

3) God sent Jesus to die for our sins on the cross

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

4) The gift of God is eternal life

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom 6:23)

Is Christianity true?

I thought to myself, this is a good offer. Free of charge. Then, I questioned him, “What if what you’re saying is not true?

He used another illustration to explain about trusting in Jesus. Before you sit in a chair how did you know that it would support you, you only found out after you sat on it and you discovered that it was good. Likewise you have to take the first step of faith and trust in God and God will prove Himself to you. I said to myself “It won’t do me any harm to try this guy Jesus, if Jesus fails me I can always return to my atheist point of view”.


Walking home a new man

I repeated a prayer with the man to ask Jesus to forgive my sins and be my Lord and Saviour. Immediately, I felt like a new person.

I felt the burden of guilt and shame from all the bad things I had done being lifted from me. I felt so light, like walking on air. Wow, this Jesus thing is working, so far so good. I went home and started to tell my family, relatives and friends about Jesus.

I pray that you will also experience new life in Jesus

MY FIRST HEALING CRUSADE IN PHILIPPINES

I am inspired by Apostle Paul's faith and message to the Corinthian church. He preached the gospel, not just with words but with the demonstration of the Spirit's power to bring healing, deliverance and freedom to the people. Let us be inspired to follow his example and see many people touched by the power and reality of God's love.

My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5

I thank God for the opportunity to do my very first Healing Crusade in the Philippines with Hope Manila. It was like a dream come true! I never expected that God would use me to do Healing Crusades.

I always saw Healing Crusades on TV or on the internet and wish that one day God could use me in similar ways. There were over 500 people attending the Healing Crusade over two nights. It was amazing seeing God bringing people from the streets and community. Many people accepted Christ and were healed by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Watch video below)

Friends, believe that God can use you too because we are living in the Ends time revival. Expect great things from God in your life, family, business and ministry.

EXPECT A MIRACLE TODAY

[In the city of Kuala Lumpur]

I am in Thailand for healing ministry and God is moving powerfully.

• A little boy received instantly healed of his eyesight. He no longer needs to wears glasses!

• A lady's left leg grew by an inch and is now the same length as the right leg.

• An elderly man was healed of pain in his leg and threw his walking stick away. He started to walk around the church and everyone gave praises to God.
  

I just want encourage all Christians that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Jesus never changes. He healed two thousand years ago and still heals today. Let us exercise the gifts of healing in the workplace, school and church so that people can experience God's love and power.

Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus. Acts 4:30

WHAT I DO IN MY FREE TIME?

What does Peter Truong do in his free time when he is not traveling and for healing ministry? I just like to hang around with my friends in Brisbane. Today, I went to Southbank and met up with friends. I went on a river cruise and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Brisbane river and did some video recording.

Then, I went home to clean up my room. I was away for 6 weeks and my room is gathering dust! It was a major cleaning job! GOD CONFIRMS HIS MESSAGE

I just got back from 6 weeks of healing ministry in Asia. Two weeks in Malaysia, two weeks in Philippines and two Indonesia. Thank God for many healing taken places in all of these countries. Jesus said that when we preach the gospel, He will confirm the message with signs and wonders.

In November 2007, I was doing 4 weeks of healing ministry in Thailand. Here is a healing video in Phuket, Thailand. God performed many healing through the churches. A lady's eye got healed from a long term injury after prayer. Glory to God!

FOUR WEEKS IN GERMANY

I thank God for the opportunity to travel to Germany for 4 weeks in October 2007. I went to five cities such as Berlin, Chemnitz, Essen, Nuernberg and Stuttgart.
