THE BRITISH MUSEUM

Praise God! I manage to visit the British Museum. It was an awesome experience!! I highly recommend you visit the British Museum if you are in London. It is totally free! Below are some photos of me touring around the museum.

The British Museum in London is one of the world's greatest museums of human history and culture. Its collections, which number more than 13 million objects, are amongst the largest and most comprehensive in the world and originate from all continents, illustrating and documenting the story of human culture from its beginning to the present.[a]
The wonders of the museum brought here to Bloomsbury from all around the world's imagined corners are numberless. How can they be named? As well tally each leaf of a tree. They come here out of the living minds of generations of men and women now dead – Greek and Assyrian, Aztec and Inuit, Chinese and Indian – who have conceived and carved and hammered and tempered and cast these objects to represent the worlds around them, visible and invisible.[3]

The British Museum was established in 1753, largely based on the collections of the physician and scientist Sir Hans Sloane. The museum first opened to the public on 15 January 1759 in Montagu House in Bloomsbury, on the site of the current museum building. Its expansion over the following two and a half centuries has resulted in the creation of several branch institutions, the first being the British Museum (Natural History) in South Kensington in 1887. Until 1997, when the current British Library building opened to the public, the British Museum was unique in that it housed both a national museum of antiquities and a national library in the same building. Since 2001 the director of the Museum has been Neil MacGregor.[4]

As with all other national museums and art galleries in Britain, the Museum charges no admission fee, although charges are levied for some temporary special exhibitions.[5]

SIGHTSEEING IN LONDON, UK

The United Kingdom is a country of enormous historical value. I am always reminded of the great men and women of God who came from the United Kingdom in the past. People like John Wesley who sparked the Methodist movement, William Booth who pioneered the Salvation Army, Hudson Taylor who started "China Inland Missions", Robert Evans who led the Wales Revival, Smith Smigglesworth who pioneered the Healing Ministry, David Livingston who spread the gospel in Africa...Wow! The list can go on and on.

The question I always ask myself is "Can God raise up a new generation of men and women of God to shake their world once again? I believe God can. He has and is, looking for people who are available to expand His Kingdom throughout history and to the present day. If we are willing to serve God, He will definitely use us.

I made a video of Pastor PK and Kim Tse from Hope London because I was inspired by their intense desire to serve God through church planting. They left their comfortable home in Hong Kong and went to London to pioneer a church. God is blessing their ministry in United Kingdom (View Video).

Here are some photos from my sightseeing tour in London. I took a photo of the "Big Ben", Parliament House in London.

Many tourists from around the world gather at Buckingham Palace everyday.

OSLO CITY IN NORWAY

Tor and Wanda are my close friends in Norway. We like to joke around, have a few laughs together and share Christ with people. I did a special video interview with Tor and Wanda at a natural reserve. I hope you will be inspired by their life story and church planting in Norway (View Video).

I love visiting Norway because of the beautiful scenery and my Norwegian friends. Follo is a town one hour away from Oslo, capital of Norway. At Hope Follo, there are many young people who attend"Jesus People" fellowship on Friday night. I enjoyed ministering to the youth in Norway; they are very responsive to God (View Video)

Anne Frank History

Annelies
Marie "Anne" Frank (listen (help·info)) (June 12, 1929 – early March 1945) was a Jewish girl who wrote a diary while in hiding with her family and four friends in Amsterdam during the German occupation of the Netherlands in World War II.

Born in Frankfurt, Germany, Frank and her family moved to Amsterdam in 1933, after the Nazis gained power in Germany, and were trapped by the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. As persecutions against the Jewish population increased, the family went into hiding in July 1942 in hidden rooms in her father Otto Frank's office building. After two years in hiding the group was betrayed and transported to concentration camps. Seven months after her arrest, Frank died of typhus in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp within days of her sister, Margot Frank. Her father, Otto, the only survivor of the group, returned to Amsterdam after the war ended, to find that her diary had been saved. In 1947 he had it published in Dutch under the title Het Achterhuis: Dagboekbrieven van 12 Juni 1942 – 1 Augustus 1944 (The Backhouse: Diary notes from 12 June 19421 August 1944). A collection of her other writings recovered from the hiding place, Tales from the Secret Annex was published in 1949.

The diary, which was given to Frank on her thirteenth birthday, chronicles her life from June 12, 1942 until August 1, 1944. It was published as The Diary of a Young Girl and eventually translated from its original Dutch into many languages and became one of the world's most widely read books. There have also been several films, television, theatrical productions, and even an opera based on the diary. Described as the work of a mature and insightful mind, it provides an intimate examination of daily life under Nazi occupation and in hiding; through her writing, Frank has become one of the most renowned and discussed of Holocaust victims.

HOPE UTRECHT, THE NETHERLANDS

Hope Utrecht was the first in Hope Europe churches to have a Healing Service during my 3 month mission trip. I rallied all my friends from Hope Brisbane and around the world to pray for our Healing Service.

Albert, Claire and Stefan from Hope Utrecht have been inviting people from the community for the meeting. We thank God for bringing new visitors to the Healing Service. God touched people's lives at the meeting and new visitors gave testimony of healings. We praise God for His power and love (Watch Video)

AMSTERDAM CITY, THE NETHERLANDS

Amsterdam is indeed one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. It was an unforgettable experience walking the streets of Amsterdam and see all the historical buildings and landmarks.

There are many cannels in Amdsterdam since the city is build below sea level. Thousands of tourists around the world coming to Amsterdam everyday. There is a big sign "Jesus Loves You" outside the main train station. Jesus loves this city and I pray that one day we will pioneer a church in the city. Below are photos of me doing sightseeing in Amsterdam.
