THE BRITISH MUSEUM

Praise God! I manage to visit the British Museum. It was an awesome experience!! I highly recommend you visit the British Museum if you are in London. It is totally free! Below are some photos of me touring around the museum.

The British Museum in London is one of the world's greatest museums of human history and culture. Its collections, which number more than 13 million objects, are amongst the largest and most comprehensive in the world and originate from all continents, illustrating and documenting the story of human culture from its beginning to the present.[a]
The wonders of the museum brought here to Bloomsbury from all around the world's imagined corners are numberless. How can they be named? As well tally each leaf of a tree. They come here out of the living minds of generations of men and women now dead – Greek and Assyrian, Aztec and Inuit, Chinese and Indian – who have conceived and carved and hammered and tempered and cast these objects to represent the worlds around them, visible and invisible.[3]

The British Museum was established in 1753, largely based on the collections of the physician and scientist Sir Hans Sloane. The museum first opened to the public on 15 January 1759 in Montagu House in Bloomsbury, on the site of the current museum building. Its expansion over the following two and a half centuries has resulted in the creation of several branch institutions, the first being the British Museum (Natural History) in South Kensington in 1887. Until 1997, when the current British Library building opened to the public, the British Museum was unique in that it housed both a national museum of antiquities and a national library in the same building. Since 2001 the director of the Museum has been Neil MacGregor.[4]

As with all other national museums and art galleries in Britain, the Museum charges no admission fee, although charges are levied for some temporary special exhibitions.[5]

SIGHTSEEING IN LONDON, UK

The United Kingdom is a country of enormous historical value. I am always reminded of the great men and women of God who came from the United Kingdom in the past. People like John Wesley who sparked the Methodist movement, William Booth who pioneered the Salvation Army, Hudson Taylor who started "China Inland Missions", Robert Evans who led the Wales Revival, Smith Smigglesworth who pioneered the Healing Ministry, David Livingston who spread the gospel in Africa...Wow! The list can go on and on.

The question I always ask myself is "Can God raise up a new generation of men and women of God to shake their world once again? I believe God can. He has and is, looking for people who are available to expand His Kingdom throughout history and to the present day. If we are willing to serve God, He will definitely use us.

I made a video of Pastor PK and Kim Tse from Hope London because I was inspired by their intense desire to serve God through church planting. They left their comfortable home in Hong Kong and went to London to pioneer a church. God is blessing their ministry in United Kingdom (View Video).

Here are some photos from my sightseeing tour in London. I took a photo of the "Big Ben", Parliament House in London.

I am standing in front of Buckingham Palace. I was so glad to be able to witness the changing of guards in Buckingham Palace.

Many tourists from around the world gather at Buckingham Palace everyday.

OSLO CITY IN NORWAY

Tor and Wanda are my close friends in Norway. We like to joke around, have a few laughs together and share Christ with people. I did a special video interview with Tor and Wanda at a natural reserve. I hope you will be inspired by their life story and church planting in Norway (View Video).

"JESUS PEOPLE" YOUTH CLUB, FOLLO - NORWAY

I love visiting Norway because of the beautiful scenery and my Norwegian friends. Follo is a town one hour away from Oslo, capital of Norway. At Hope Follo, there are many young people who attend"Jesus People" fellowship on Friday night. I enjoyed ministering to the youth in Norway; they are very responsive to God (View Video)
